MyDIGITAL Corporation, in a continued collaboration with Intel Malaysia is hosting the MYCentre4IR AI Impact Challenge 2024. The challenge aims to inspire, nurture and celebrate the culture of innovation among students and youth.
What is MYCentre4IR AI Impact Challenge 2024?
MYCentre4IR AI Impact Challenge 2024 is a digital readiness celebration for next-generation technologists, as well as academia, ecosystem, and government partners to showcase AI innovation and impact. Empowering student innovators to harness AI for positive impact, the MYCentre4IR AI Impact Challenge 2024 cultivates innovation and social responsibility to drive inclusive growth and accelerate sustainable development.
Who can Participate?
AI Changemakers (Junior Category)
Students aged 13 to 18 years old
Currently studying in secondary school (Form 1 to Form 6), technical secondary school, or vocational school
Individual or a team of up to 3 students
AI Changemakers (Senior Category)
Students over 18 years old
Currently studying in pre-university, college, or university
Individual or a team of up to 3 students

How to Participate?
Entry submission requirements:
All submissions must include the following:
AI Project Title (maximum 10 words)
Project Description (maximum 150 words)
A 2-minute video about the project (size not exceeding 60MB) in MP4, MOV, WMV, FLV, or AVI format. English subtitles must be added if the video is not in English.
Entry Submission:
Students can submit entries by completing a Google Form. Click the “Submit Google Form” to start.
Entry Evaluation:
Entries submitted for the MYCentre4IR AI Impact Challenge 2024 will be evaluated based on the prescribed evaluation rubrics. Click “Discover More” for details.

Participants born on or after 1 May 2006 are eligible for the “Junior Category” group.
Participants born before 1 May 2006 are eligible for the “Senior Category” group.
If any team member is born on or after 1 May 2006, the team must participate in the “Junior Category” group. However, no team member in this group can be born before 1 May 2004.
The participant who drops out is not eligible for the awards. However, the rest of the team can still compete after submitting a written acknowledgment from the dropout participant(s) to forgo the award if the entry wins the competition.
No. Intel employees, including blue badges, interns, green badges, contingent workers, and ICE, are not permitted to compete in any category of the competition. However, relatives or family members of Intel employees are eligible to participate and compete in the challenge.
No. According to the competition guidelines and criteria, any incomplete entry will be disqualified.
Yes, the challenge aims to be inclusive, welcoming participation from students across Malaysia who are interested in leveraging AI technology for social impact and skill development.
Entries can be submitted in English and Bahasa.
